Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy for the Treatment of Tendinopathies: Current Evidence on Effectiveness, Mechanisms, Limitations and Future Directions

This review presents current understanding of mechanisms action extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and provides a brief overview its history development.
