چکیده

This review presents current understanding of mechanisms action extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and provides a brief overview its history development. The central purpose this is to synthesize research findings investigating the effectiveness ESWT for seven common tendinopathies (plantar heel pain, rotator cuff, lateral elbow, Achilles, gluteal, hamstring patellar tendinopathy) provide recommendations on clinical applicability. Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy in Cardiology: Current Status and Future Perspectives

Management of end-stage coronary artery disease is often hopeless because of lack of evidence-based, uniformly effective, safe, and inexpensive treatment options. Geneor stem-cell-based therapies are not yet ready for routine clinical use, and heart transplantation is seriously limited by the scarcity of organs. In this regard, extracorporeal shockwave therapy is emerging as a noninvasive means...

Extracorporeal shockwave therapy and therapeutic exercise for supraspinatus and biceps tendinopathies in 29 dogs.

Supraspinatus tendinopathy (ST) and biceps tendinopathy (BT) are common causes of forelimb lameness in large-breed dogs and have historically been treated with conservative management or surgery. Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and therapeutic exercise (TE) are thought to be treatment options for these conditions. The objectives of this study were to report the clinical presentations of...

Antiplatelet Therapy in Diabetes: Efficacy and Limitations of Current Treatment Strategies and Future Directions

C ardiovascular disease is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with diabetes (1).
